It will be helpful to get you a more accurate quote if we know
the following information:
- How many minutes long is your original media?
- How many 8-tracks will you need produced?
- What is your time-frame for getting the 8-tracks back to you?
- What genre of music is your album?
- We can provide templates for a custom one piece, one piece wrap or two piece label as well as a template for a custom sleeve for single window, double window (front/back), or a solid sleeve. These will be sent out after we have a deposit for the project. Shell colors that are offered will depend on the type of label you're wanting to go with. Some colors are limited and will have an additional cost. The main colors available are - charcoal gray, black, red, blue, olive green, and white. Premium colors (when available - most in limited numbers) would be pink, yellow, orange, and possibly a few other colors. All colors may vary in the shade of the color - ie. lighter or dark blue, red, etc.

There
will be a one time setup charge per album title (not per tape) on all orders of 50 or less tapes.
For all orders under $500, a 25% deposit will be required* For all orders over $500, a 50% deposit will be required*
Your deposit is used to lay out your music to meet the 8-track format, start collecting materials to begin the recording of your project, our time to prepare the tapes for recording and to purchase materials, such as labels, sleeves, etc. for the project.
On the sleeve templates, most are a 2 UP layout. What you put into one design should be put into the other. On the sides of the sleeves, we have care instructions and our company name. We'd like it if you leave both there. If one has to be taken off, it should be our company name. The care instructions are used by the die cutter to registar the sleeves for cutting but more importantly it gives the buyer helpful care instructions for the tape they have just purchased. Back in the day most sleeves had care instructions either on one sides or on the back of the sleeve. They were there for a reason. They gave helpful information about taking care of your 8-track cartridge. One that we have is to lightly tap down your tape after shipping. Sometimes a tape will raise up in the center. Lightly taping the tape down can help to settle the tape. We test each tape before they ship to make sure they are playing correctly. If you choose not to have that put on the sleeve we will not be responsible for tapes that may be defective when received by the buyer.
